Home Sweet Home
So I got to come home for two days! Hooray! I have to go back on Monday but at least I get to spend the weekend with my family and enjoy the sunshine! :) I have been unofficially given the diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma, also called Hodgkins Disease. I start chemotherapy on Monday. It should be about a 4 to 6 month process. I'm not excited about losing my hair but am going to get it chopped off first and try a short hairstyle before I go bald! I have been feeling very positive and good about everything and know that the end result will be great. I am of course still scared and cry every once in a while but for the most part am my same upbeat giggly self. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and well wishes!!

At Peace......
Ok, is everyone ready for this? You might want to sit down. I have been in pain for about 6 months and haven't been able to breath very well and they misdiagnosed me as having inflammation of the cartilage in my ribs. So I went to a rhuematologist on Thursday and she said you need a chest xray immediately. I went for the xray and went to lunch, she called me within 20 min and said that I needed to be admitted. there was a lot of fluid around my lung and a mass. They drained the fluid on Friday (2.6 liters....almost 5 pounds!!) and did a biopsy and are leaning towards cancer. So I have another biopsy tomorrow, they are going to take out one of my lymph nodes in my arm pit and we should hopefully know for sure what this is by this weekend. I had a blessing right before I came into the hospital and have actually been pretty much at peace about it all. I am scared obviously and not looking forward to the pain and side affects. :*( But I am going to be ok. I have a huge support network with my family and extended family and my ward. I am very blessed by all the people around me. Ethan took some "lovely" pics of me in the hospital so I will try and post those by friday. Thanks for all the love!!
